MotoGP's seven times world champion back talking NOT IRA Forgiving Spanish Honda APOS lost the title in 2015
The MotoGP 2015 season was marked by the beginning of a rivalry that promises to have new chapters in 2016. Rossi accused Marquez of help Lorenzo, and all that was said by Italian was reflected in the Malaysian Grand Prix last year, when the two Marquez played and fell. Rossi was punished for the incident and saw Lorenzo apply champion.
After all the pre-season, both remain at odds, with Rossi again attacking the champion of MotoGP.
"More than anything, I let myself be fooled by Marquez," Rossi said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport when asked if he felt he had overestimated the abilities of his rival.
"He really betrayed me. He said it was love, but it was all a lie."
"I almost believed him and was ready to rival it giving 100% on track. In Assen I realized that it was only when my friend hit me."
Asked about the changes made to the system of penalty points to 2016 following his infamous incident with Marquez, Rossi said: "I did not understand in fact what they changed."
"At the moment, people always told me that they never penalized, but evidetimente was not the case."
"It would have been better to be penalized in Malaysia than to arrive without title chances in Valencia."
Convinced stay
Rossi also said he intends to remain in MotoGP beyond the end of his contract with Yamaha, which ends later this year.
"I'll do five or six races (before deciding if I want to stay), but I am quite convinced that I will spend the next year with Yamaha," he said.
"Maybe I think I stop, because I'm already starting to get gray hair. However, at 39, could attend some car races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans or the Dakar Rally."
