With performances far from expected, pilot enters 11th season for Repsol Honda in 2016
Regarded as one of the pilots who could have played advantage with the new Michelin tires, focusing more accurate riders, Dani Pedrosa was frustrated with the first tests of the MotoGP. According to him, the new model of the RC213V Honda has problems on all tracks that ever walked.
"I improved a lot," admitted the Spaniard. "We had no new tires left (the last test day), so we could not do many tests and finished my training earlier than usual."
"We did not really improve the bike, so everything is a little uncertain right now. We need to try a few more things for the race, we'll see what we can bring."
"At the moment it is difficult. We're not super ready, but we will do our best to see what we can do."
With problems "all tracks"
Pedrosa was closer to the pace on Thursday, ending just 0s4 Maverick Vinales leader, in seventh position. But he stressed that Honda had trouble "all tracks" that had been.
"On Thursday we did not start well. At first I had a problem with a tire," said Pedrosa. "I had to change, then lost the rhythm, it took me a long time to meet again."
"I made more than half a race distance with the tires, so I'm building up a bit of experience."
"The feeling is not as good as I wanted. We have problems in all tracks that have trained, but we have to be positive and improve step by step."
