MOTO2: SOVEREIGN, KIDNEY WARRANT POLE POSITION IN THE UNITED STATES


Moto2 riders had the advantage of having a completely dry track from the beginning, despite heavy clouds still hover on the horizon. Rins was the first to set a quick time with 2min09s190. Jonas Folger came in second and championship leader Thomas Luthi in third.

The riders returned to the track with a lot of desire for the final ten minutes. Kidneys, for example, did its best to improve their own time without success. The big surprise was Zarco, who with the reset timer jumped to second place, two tenths behind the Spaniard. Lowes completed the front row in third.
